Photoshoot today!

I had the privilege today to take some 2nd birthday pictures for Katie's friend Jackson. Well, they are actually for his birthday invitation. Of course Katie had to help me set up. And...omg....she actually posed and smiled and stayed put for more than 5 seconds on the set! You don't understand...this is a first! :)

Then this one just melted the old heart...

I asked her to give her babies a kiss...well I guess having your babies give each other kisses is darn cute as well.

And here is a sneaky peaky for Jackson's Mommy!

Hip, Hip....Horray! TUMBLES!

Katie loves going to JW Tumbles! I finally remembered to bring my camera again, although the place is like a photographer's nightmare. Super tall ceilings that are painted dark purple. My bounced flash just dies somewhere up there. Anyway, here's a few of my little Tumbler.

I've been tagged!

One of my fellow bloggers Donitatagged me! Now I have to struggle to come up with 8 intersting things about myself....hmmm...

1. I have a webbed toe....yes I know...disgusting!

2. I love cheesy chick flicks.

3. Speaking of cheese, I could eat Macaroni and Cheese every day of the week and not get tired of it.

4. I just finished reading Marley and Me and bawled my eyes out at the end, even though I knew what was coming.

5. Naptime is my favorite time of day.

6. I watch Days of Our Lives...hey at least it's not Passions (Dallas)!

7. I miss CA and my family every day.

8. My favorite Starbucks drink is a Peppermint Mocha, but it must only be consumed around the holidays when it's cold outside. All other times a caramel light frappacino will suffice.

My 8 Goobers...you are tagged!
1. Dallas
2. Jamie
3. Megan
4. Jenifer
5. Lindsay
6. Marisa
7. Jules
8. Kara

Honest Opinions?

Likey or no likey the new layout? It matches my new photography logo. I feel so professional. Now I just need a website, some clients, some new equipment and I'll be set!

Hmm...just realized I need a new blog button now...but it's late. Nighty night!

Aunties, Uncles and Helicopters....OH MY!

Saturday night we went down to Aunt Stacy and Uncle Mike's house for a visit. Katie knows how to work those Aunties for the M&Ms. :)

Daddy and Uncle Jerad are really just 5 year olds in grown up bodies. Their latest toys? Remote control helicopters, which Katie just LOVES.

"Hmmmm....I wonder if Uncle Mike will get me some of the M&M's down there?"

It may be my eyes decieving me, but something seems different in my pictures. Might just be a foreshadow of things to come? Hmmmmm...

Why do I buy this crap???

because of the smiles :)

Cheerio!

Finally the conclusion of Keith and Shannon invade Europe.

London
It was such a relief to be in a city where we understood what the people were saying (most times) and they understood us! We even spent an extra day there and went around on the "Tube" and saw some more sites. We went and saw Mary Poppins one night and it was totally a blast. I think Keith was even singing afterwards. :)

St. Paul's Cathedral
If you know anything about Mary Poppins this is where the bird lady "feeds the birds." :)

The guard at St. James Palace.
Apparently the fun guards with the hats like the ones you think of in front of Buckingham Palace are all in Iraq. So the Jamaicans are filling in. :D

Horses walking down the street...an everyday occurance I guess.

The best London guide ever, Mick. Apparently he's been on TV. He was a riot!

Buckingham Palace

Just me with a phone booth because it's cool!

The Royal Mews
This is where all the royal horses and carriages are kept. Most of the horses were gone enjoying the summer in some pasture. Two unfortunate fellows had to stay behind...poor things. Oh and the horses and the guy with the gold carriage, which weighs 3 tons by the way) are fake.

The Parliament and The Clock Tower that houses Big Ben (who was not chiming unfortunately) and Westminster Abbey

We took a walk along the River Thames and saw the Tower of London and the Tower of London Bridge. No, much to Dallas's dismay we didn't see the Jewels. :)

Playing in the Tube

I hope you've enjoyed our pictures of Europe! We had such a great time and I'm so glad we did it. It was an experience of a lifetime! I have many more pictures that I will put up on picasa and I will post the link when they are up.

Happy Blogging!

Happy Bday Mommy!

Today is my mom's 29th birthday.....again! :)

Happy Birthday Mom!

Ah Paris!

You gotta love Paris. It's beautiful! We were told we wouldn't be able to see the Louvre because it is closed on Tuesdays and we were going to get in too late on Monday. Well, we got to the hotel at 4:50 Monday, hopped in a cab and made it to the Louvre by a little after 5pm. We had a whole hour! It seems like a long time until you get in this place....it's rediculously ginormous! We did manage to make it to the Mona Lisa. :)

Afterwards we walked the entire Champs-Elysees down to the Arch De Triumph.

The Europeans are strange...how is it possible to look manly drinking espresso from these cups!

After dinner we climbed the very long, windy stairs of the Arch De Triumph and got some nice shots of the Eiffel Tower.

The next day, up the Eiffel Tower we went! I'll spare you the tons of panoramics I took...I still need to stitch them together.

Handsdown my favorite picture from the trip... :) Keith LOVES Paris!

Later that afternoon we went to the Palace of Versaille. It was amazing!

I have tons more pictures of the indoors of Versaille, but they are just of boring old furniture and stuff...hehe!

Stay tuned for London! :)
