Wedding Weekend!

This past weekend my beautiful, sweet sister in law got married! Welcome Daniel to this crazy Kirkendall family! I am so incredibly happy for them and wish them such a happy, blessed future.

Gotta tell you...other than the bride of course I think Katie was the star of the show on the dance floor. She danced the night away and had a blast! Everyone love her!

To the Zoo!

Another Monday holiday meant another trip to the zoo, this time with our most favorite sweet cousin Brooke. It was a beautiful day for it and we had a great time!

Grandma Weekend!

We were so lucky to have Grandma come visit last weekend!  Not only do the kids love it, Mommy gets a bit of a mental break :)  We also celebrated my birthday so I got a bit spoiled too.


Grandma got to watch Katie play basketball and she scored 3 baskets! She must be her lucky charm! At the end of the game, Katie received the sportsmanship award as well. So proud!


After the game we headed over to the Grand Opening of the Veggie Village! This is a location where gardeners have their own spaces and donate their fruits and veggies to those in need. So awesome! THey had lots of fun activities and Mr. and Mrs. McGregor (from Peter Rabbit) were there and had story time.


And on an unrelated note....Katie celebrated the 100th day of school on Wednesday! Everyone had to come up with crazy hats with 100 things on them. Her choice...jewels :)


I promise she doesn't walk out the door in the morning looking like this! The child looks like she walks through a wind tunnel at the end of the day...haha!
