Around the neighborhood

Katie decided that she wanted to take Cali for a walk...which was great, except she wanted to do it while riding her bike. That proves to be a bit more difficult. A) Cali is scared of her own shadow let alone a bicycle with a toddler on it. B) Getting tangled in the leash is interesting when it's wrapped around my legs, a bicycle and Katie. C) Katie figured out it was funny to let go of the retractable leash and watch Cali jump a mile in the air. Needless to say it took awhile to get around the block. :D


We dropped Cali off and Mommy put a coat on her poor freezing child (it was super windy) and we went off to the park. Static + Wind = Bad Hair Day. :)


I've been REALLY trying to make Katie realize how dangerous it is to run in parking lots, streets, etc. and that we need to hold hands. I talked to her about the stop signs and how it means we need to stop and watch for cars. Which she did and wouldn't budge even if a car was 3 miles away and going in the opposite direction...haha. I also asked her if she knew the letters in the word stop and to my amazement she pointed correctly to each one! I was shocked!


When I told her if she ran in front of a car she would get a big ouchie. She looked at me with a very concerned face and said "I need lots of bandages and boo bunny." haha...yup you sure would!

I turned 29......again..... :D

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that sent me Happy Birthday wishes! You're the best. Got this from my Mommy and Daddy. :D

We're back!

I need to sort through pictures but we're back! Katie had so much fun in Disneyland! We are all exhausted from chasing after her. :) Lots of pictures to come!

Tomorrow we are off to Disneyland so I won't be posting until we return on Sunday. I'll definitely have photos to share. Hopefully the forecast is completely wrong and it won't rain the entire time. :( It may be a soggy trip, but fun none the less I'm sure!

Cabin Fever

We haven't ventured outside much lately. It's been cold and the ground is soaking wet from rain, which makes for a muddy Katie! So, we've been playing a lot inside.

Dressing up her baby dolls. That baby on the right should feel super lucky. Katie NEVER lets other dolls play with Babies! :D Also...anybody else find the proportions of that doll freakish????


Uggh...Monday night television is BLAH...but we found a show called Dance Wars and Katie got her groove on. Hard to tell in pictures (and I was too lazy to get the video camera) but she was having a blast dancing around to the different routines! I was busting up at her wedgy!!!!

Yesterday we went and played with Katie's pal Jackson. They are too cute together!

My Confused Child

Ok, please tell me what child refuses to eat pizza? Apparently mine! She has never really liked it actually. Tonight was no different. While it was cooling off I gave Katie a plate of carrot chips and some ranch dressing. I swear she ate the whole bag and refused the pizza! Sometimes I wonder if she's really mine! :D Why I took pictures of this...I have no idea.

Polka Dots and Baby Blue

After our playdate yesterday morning, I wanted to snap a few of Katie in all her cuteness. Well actually she was refusing to nap and driving me crazy so I put her to work...haha! This blue paper had never been opened (I need to do some baby boy sessions!) and thought it would look cute with her outfit. She was less than cooperative...uggh. Got a couple though. :)



Blah...these look dark on here. Oh well, I'm too lazy to go back!

Just another day...

We actually played with Jackson this morning, but Mommy forgot to take pictures. :( It's really fun to see how they have grown. They are going from playing around each other and not paying attention to each other, to having little games of chase. Too cute!

This afternoon Andon came over! This picture cracked me up...I don't know why, but I think it looks like a typical relationship. The guy's doing the grunt work while the girl's reading directions and questioning whether he's doing it right. :D

I've been a terrible blogger lately! We have all been under the weather, but I promise that I will get back into the swing of things shortly!

Bubbly

Sorry it's been so long since my last post...we found out Katie has a double ear infection and the side affects of her antibiotic have been less than pleasant. So we've stayed close to home for the most part. Last night though we played a bit out side with Daddy and some bubbles! Mommy even got a picture too!
