Fountain fun!

Today we went to some fountains at the Fellowship of The Woodlands. Although a bit more intense than Market Street, these fountains have shade for the mamas and little babies and nobody else was there! Our kiddos were a little tentative about the water though and didn't go to crazy. It was still fun though.

Oh and thank you for all the Happy Anniversary wishes! Keith and I had a super yummy dinner...alone!!!... at Jasper's and boy was it good. I'm not sure how I fit all that food in my belly but I managed! It is definitely on my list of fav restaurants now.

Lights...Camera....Help! :)

So the lighting equipment was in the dining room taunting me and calling my name, so as soon as Katie woke up we went to work! Keep in mind I have only used lighting equipment once at Megan's and she had it all set up so I had no idea what to do. Luckily it wasn't all that complicated and before I knew it, I was shooting away. I'm still having major issues....obviously....but I'm so excited!!!

Playdate day!

It's been ages since I snapped any pictures at our weekly "let's see how fast 3 toddlers can trash a house" get togethers with Jackson, Kendall, Andon and Brylynn. We really look forward to these days because the kids love each other (although lately they've been having some love spats :P) and the mamas I think enjoy some adult interaction! We are so grateful to have them!

Let's just pretend Andon was giving Katie a friendly tickle...hehe

My Monkey

Lately Katie has been into anything "Party." We are always having Tea Parties, Dance Parties, Pajama Parties, Birthday Parties (she swears her birthday is always tomorrow). Here are some snaps from our recent Dance Party in her bedroom. The lighting in this room is the bain of my existence!!!!! :S

Porch Light and a New Hat

I found this hat on clearance yesterday and couldn't wait to try it out. But I think it looked better in my head. :P Anyway, Katie was being nice and indulging her mama witha few pictures. I decided to try out my front porch light and over exposed a bit but they still turned out cute. :)

Mini Me?

Ok when I took this picture yesterday I thought that maybe she looked a bit like me in some pictures I had of me when I was a kid. I think I'm beginning to see a little me in her. :)



Oh and obviously the second picture wasn't taken by me, but I don't think my Grandpa would mind :P

The pool is cool!

Yesterday evening we convinced Daddy to go to the pool with us, so that was a special treat! She LOVES the pool. :)


Going down the slide by herself! This is a recent achievement because usually she wants you to catch her at the bottom. Then one day it was "momma go away!" and she did it herself and hasn't looked back :)

2 months from today!

Baby Ryan will be here! The csection is scheduled for Sept 16th that is if he doesn't decide to come earlier, and with the way he's kicking me he may just do it! Or if the doctor changes his mind. Let's hope Ryan's like his big sis and has no plans to come early.

Today Katie went to the doctor with me and got to hear his heartbeat for the first time. Boy was she excited!!!!! We talked a lot about it before we went and when the nurse came in she said "I'm going to hear Baby Ryan's heart bump bump bump!" Hehe :)

Sorry, no pics of the doctor fun but wanted to let everyone know that there is a date. :)

A long time ago I posted a video of this song by Fiest which Katie LOVED...and it's kinda scary but I think she learned to pretty much count (except for the numbers 7 and 8!) by singing this song. Well now millions of kiddos around the world are learning to count the same way!

Official Torture the Dog Day :S

I think I've mentioned this before...Cali our beloved Cockapoo will go to some dog Saint heaven when she passes on. The stuff she puts up with without going postal is amazing. Unfortunately I was the instigator in today's fun...I couldn't help it. :P

Cali: "Human, PLEASE get me out of here...this is not my idea of fun..."


Katie: "Poodle isn't this fun?????"


Cali: "Thanks for the hug kid but I'm outta here!"


Then when Katie got up from her nap she had in her head she wanted to have a "dance party." Again I think this is another Max and Ruby thing. Anyway, we broke out the tutus and I even made some mini tutus for Baby and Other Baby. Katie couldn't let Cali miss out on the tutu dancing fun so.....well you'll see :P
