Let's Dance!

Katie had her dance recital tonight! (FINALLY!) The year went a little late and we (uh me) was ready for it to be over! But recital time is always fun for Katie and she gets so excited. Borders on torture for the family that sits through the 3 hour recital but I hope they know how much she LOVES that they are there every year :)

First up Jazz! This is our first year of doing Jazz, as it is introducted at ages 5/6 at our studio and she LOVED it. It helped that their routine was to the song "Perry the Platypus" from Phinaeus and Ferb ;) Pictures didn't turn out that well :S


Her ballet routine was LAST in the whole recital besides the finale. It was a long nap I mean wait ;) They did SOOOOO good at this dance...so cute! It was to "Cats and Dogs" which was like a sassy french accent song and it was great :D

Father's Day 2012 :)

Forgot to post some pictures from Father's Day! Daddy got spoiled. Lots of hand made cards and books from Ms. Katie. Also cufflinks, a super cool Super Dad blanket, and some framed prints for his office :D Later the fam came over and the guys golfed. We took the kids to the spray park

Forgottens!

I found a few pictures I forgot about and had to share. Summer has been super busy with camps for both kids and other activities. Oh how I wish I could be a fly on the wall at Katie's YMCA Adventure camp! She comes home talking about shooting a bow and arrow and covering her leader with silly string and whipped cream and I'm so sad I don't have pictures of all the fun. She is loving it and having a great time.

So I posted Katie's 1/2 birthday pictures but Ryan turned 3 1/2 3 months ago and I have yet to post any official ones of him....because he's at an awful picture stage. Here are two I caught the other day when I did Katie's. My big boy!

My baby recently turned 6 1/2. I thought these pictures perfectly sum up her personality. I love her more than words can express...


PS: Ryan turned 3 1/2 in March and have yet to have a succesful picture session with him....him cutting a chunk of hair off the top of his head doesn't help either!
