You are pushing me to my limits these days but when I see a picture like this my heart swells. No particular reason really and I can't put my finger on it. You're growing so fast that's for sure. Today you told me someday you'd be 5 and 6 and 7 and 8 and 20. And then I almost went into cardiac arrest thinking about THAT. Let's get through 4 first.

Let Your Tongues Hang Out!

Apparently that is what is required when it snows. Yes...for the 3rd time this year we had snow in Houston which is just absolute craziness.


We had our friends over to help enjoy the fluffy white stuff! (please don't judge my mothering or my style based on my daughter's outfit...aye yi yi)




Ryan didn't mind the cold or wet...he just played and played...


Nothing like a warm bath after an afternoon of cold snow :)

Lazy Day

We had a drizzly Sunday morning today. So A little Toy Story 2 was in order...Ryan was in awe. Every time the dinosaur came on he roared and whenever Buzz Lightyear flew or there was a scene where they were driving he'd yell "Goooooooooo!!!" He sat like this for about the first half hour until the little 17 month old wiggles got the best of him. He loves his little window seat.


Multi-tasking sissy watched from the kitchen while doing her water colors. She's becoming very good at staying in the lines (and with water colors that's hard!) and could sit for hours doing this.

Morning O' Fun

We had some friends over this morning for a playdate and lunch. Judging by the immediate crash at naptime and having to wake the kids up at 4:30...I would call it a success! :D Thanks for sharing the morning with us guys!

Weekend of Love

Valentine's Weekend just happened to also be the weekend Grandma and Grandpa from the airport visited. We had lots of fun playing at the park...



Enjoyed Valentine's Sweets...




And a trip to the zoo...





It's getting a bit tougher now when the visits come to an end for a certain little girl. She loves her some grandma and grandpa from the airport :)

Lunch With Ryan

Ryan was being especially cute at lunch today...


Maybe it's the new haircut :) Love Katie running around in the background. The girl can't sit still and eat. Has to take a lap!

Did you know...

That I started this little blog when Katie was pretty much exactly the same age as Ryan? It all started April 11th 2007 when Katie was almost 16 1/2 months old. Ryan is 16 1/2 months old this week. Wow!!!
