Happy Ween!!!!!

Just a few snapshots and video of Katie on Halloween! She had a great time but clammed up when it was time to say Trick-or-Treat. With no nap today we didn't quite make it around the whole neighborhood but ended up seeing all of our friends along the way. We hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!

Carving Puntins

Tonight we carved our pumpkins! Katie wasn't so sure about the slimey stuff and even gagged just smelling it and looking at it. Haha! I thought she was going to yack.

One More Month...

My baby turns 2 one month from today and I don't think Mommy is quite ready for it. I will no longer have a one year old...I'll have a 2 year old. The concept is almost unfathomable! In my mind she's still the little sack-o-tatoes we brought home from the hospital....except she walks...and talks....and throws tantrums...and takes off all her clothes and her diaper in the middle of the night. Yes, Mommy started her day off with quite a laugh this morning. :D


Does anyone else think she looks like a shih-tzu with her hair like that? :D

Hehe! Nah....it's just Jackson, Katie and Andon showing off how cute they are in their Halloween costumes! We had playgroup at our house today and they all dressed up. It's the big revealing of Katie's super cute Strawberry Shortcake costume!!!!!

More Birthdays and More Pumpkins!

Yesterday was Uncle Brandon's bday and today was Keith's bday!!!! Unfortunately my video camera battery died so Katie couldn't give her usual shout out. Uncle Brandon got to hear his Katie "Happy Birthday" over the cell phone though. :) Here's a picture of Katie helping Daddy finish the last bite of his birthday cake...



Since Katie gave up the spotlight the other day at the "pumpkin patch", we went to another one today just the two of us. She loves her some "puntins."

Pumpkins!!

We went to a "pumpkin patch", and I use that word loosely, yesterday with some buddies. It was called the Oil Ranch and was mostly a place for kids to ride trains, horses, milk cows, and a variety of other activities. Their pumpkin area was less than desirable though and that's what we had gone for. Oh well...live and learn! Hopefully I provided some good pictures of the kiddos for the other Mommies. :) Smoosh was slightly neglected this trip....that's ok...she needs to learn to share the spot light.

Happy Birthday Ayden!

It's Katie's California boyfriend's 1st birthday today! We hope that it's a wonderful one! We wish would could have been there for his party last weekend. Katie would have helped him with his cake I'm sure. :) Anyway, here's Katie's special message for her buddy...

Fall is in the Air!

The impending 70 degree weather tomorrow (YAY!!!) has put me in a fall mood finally. I decided to take advantage of the few leaves that have fallen on the lawn, since the landscapers will clean them up in a couple days. Katie wasn't so sure of these crunchy dirty things at first but then she and her Daddy had some fun!
