Short and Sweet

Well, Katie and I both got haircuts this week. Didn't really plan it that way, it just happened and they are pretty simiilar too! I tried to get a picture of us together but unfortunately you can't really see our hair. :D Please excuse my creepy face....

So until now Katie hasn't shown anything in her drawing that remotely represents anything recognizable. Oh yeah she says this blob is a fish or a dog but honestly it just looks like a blob! Anyway she was drawing on her Aquadoodle with her Daddy the other night and viola! She actually drew a smiley face!



Now I should probably clarify....when she does the eyes she does a bunch of dots so that nose isn't actually a nose but hey who cares! :D

Only a couple pics but Katie and I went and played with some friends yesterday and they had a cool bounce house! It was a hit!

Just thought this was really cool...I happened to catch a bubble as it was popping. Kinda hard to see but the bottom of the bubble has disappeared while there is a bit of the top left!

Back in the Saddle

So, picking up my camera has been the absolute last thing on my mind lately. With so much to do around our house after the washer disaster it just hasn't happened. We had a lovely overcast day today so Katie and I went out to get some Valentine's Day shots. I SHOULD save these for next week but I've been such a blog slacker I'll post them. :D Get your sunglasses on...I cranked the color on some of these.





Yes, I do realize that the angle on the last one isn't the best....it was in camera and I like it so there. :P

Washer Woes

Hi all! Hopefully some of you are still with me! Sorry I haven't been my usual blogging self lately. I assure you it's for good reasons! Other than not feeling well, yesterday Katie and I came in from playing outside to a flooded house! We aren't exactly sure what happened yet but the washer kept pumping out water. Parts of three bedrooms, the bathroom, hallway and part of the living rooms were soaked. Now our house is in total shambles and there are 24 industrial fans and 4 de-hummidifiers running 24 hours a day. Needless tos ay we couldn't stay there so we are up at Keith's parents house. Hopefully once all this is taken care of I'll get back to my old bloggy self!

Deep Sleep

This rarely happens and I think I blogged pics of the last time it happened but I went in to wake up Katie at around 4 today and neither I or Cali could wake her up! I even shot a bunch of pictures before I got a little eye flutter. Usually she wakes up at the slightest noise.






And Lindsay baked me a YUMMY cake for my birthday!!!! It was sooooo good!


And Jenifer gave me a gift card to Jamba Juice.....I'm sooooo going down there tomorrow! :D
