Clouds

One of my new favorite subjects. We get some gorgeous thunderheads around here. Keith, Katie and I were driving home from running some errands I saw some really great ones....but alas no camera with me. Of course when we get home all there was was grey yuckiness overhead. Anyway, this guy peaked out this afternoon and I just wanted to share. :)

If anyone happens to know the anti-rain dance, I'm sure a lot of people in TX would appreciate you doing it right about now! I'm so sick of this stinking rain! Everyday for the past 2+ weeks it's rained!

On the other hand our flowers look nice! Here's my sad first attempt at macro flower pictures. eh...

I got my new baby today! Boy is it going to take some getting used to. Anyway, I was testing each extreme of the lens....

Yesterday Katie and I went to the Children's Museum with Miss Lindsay and Jackson and had a blast. Could these kiddos be any cuter together?

Sorry Grandma's....no pictures of Katie right now. But I do have pictures from yesterday's photoshoot of these sweet siblings. Twin one year old boys and their sister. Too cute!!

And another gotcha from today...I gotcha me one of these puppies! A Nikon 18-200 mm F/3.5-5.6G VR lens. I'm so excited to get my hands on it! Have to wait until Thursday when I make the trek into the bowels of Houston to get it. I'm giddy!!!

Toddler Book Club

Katie definitely has her favorite books. They do come and go though. Way back when I started this blog I swear that I would be reading "Dogs" to her until she went to college, but today it's gathering dust on her bookshelf along with many others. Mommy's new toys :)

Mommy got spoiled last weekend when Daddy took her to a camera store in downtown Houston. She got an actual honest to God backdrop stand, as opposed to clamping fabric to the mantle. She also got lots of seamless paper. :D Katie of course isn't the most willing of subjects so I only got to test two colors but I'm pretty happy!

Intruducing.....The Tantrum

It's starts as a simple request to be pushed in the baby doll stroller that is 3 times too small for our sweet little smoosh. Not to mention that she has already been pushed around 4 times already. The tantrum ensues...

My camera and I are on a break...let's just say some things were said. Haha...no, not really, but I am feeling a little uninspired at the moment. So you get this crap...

Ok...so when people see me with Katie they always say she looks just like me. I do not see it...at all. I don't necessarily see all Keith, but I see a lot more of Keith than me. Anyway, all you lurkers show yourself and participate in this very important scientific debate. :) Who do you think Katie looks most like? Oh and please forgive the horrid picture of me...I really had to dig in the archives to find an ok picture of me where I wasn't enormous from being pregnant, in labor, had just given birth or was from forever ago.
