Artsy Fartsy

LOVED how these turned out...and the fact she actually left the blanket on. I was practicing with my speedlight and playing with my own black and white conversions. Still needs some work. She sure makes my heart flutter though! :-D

Can't decide if I like the color or bw better on this one...

A little of this and a little of that...

We started the morning with blocks. Katie and I were so proud we took a picture of its magnificence..


We decided to go walk the golf course with Daddy today, got one picture as Daddy teed off....but then the goobers kicked us off...something about no babies. Don't they know Katie is the next Annika Sorenstam? Won't they be embarrassed in 20 years!


So home we went and Katie swallowed a Smurf...

Haha...j/k

And we ended the evening with a little jungle gym Daddy time. Ahhh...what a day!

No pictures! What the heck?

I know...I haven't taken any pictures in the last two days. Something must be very wrong! Nah...just decided not to pick up the camera...sometimes we need time apart to appreciate each other more. At least that's what Dr. Phil said. Plus it gives Katie a break from the "mommarazzi."

OMG I actually went out last night....without Katie...or Keith! It was very nice hanging with the girls and husband bashing. J/K Keith, I talked about how wonderful you are the whole time. ;-D

Oh the cuteness!

It was rainy today, but that didn't stop us from sneaking out for a bit in our hat and golashes.



Alright...who wants to take bets on when I will actually NOT take pictures one day? I'm seriously a photographaholic!

Just two

After patting...Katie shows us how to "raise your arms up high in the air.....and BLAST OFF!" She's an honorary member of the Little Einsteins.

Found this nice little gazebo park called "St. Peter's Gate" in front of these gigantic mansions. I almost felt like a was trespassing because it looked like it belonged to the homes, but I found it on the park and rec website so I think I was ok. :-) Anyway, absolutely loved the spot and will definitely be returning! Here are some of my little cutie...

Man winter is definitely gone...back to doing yard work. Katie of course was there to help her Daddy.

Hanging out with Andon

We had the pleasure of watching Mr. Andon for a bit tonight. He and Katie are so fun to watch together. Katie gets quite jealous when Mommy holds Andon and has to squirm her way into Mommy's lap.

Andon and Katie had some very lively converstations this evening...

Katie "You see Andon the equation of a straight line is Ax+By+C=0."
Andon "Yeah but only when A and B aren't = to 0 simultaneously....DUH!"
Hehe...


And had to snap a couple of Andon...he's such a willing subject unlike someone I know! Hope his mommy doesn't mind that I share his cuteness!

Best Buds

This is Andon...Katie's bestest pal. Andon has just started walking and will soon be chasing her all over the playground for once very soon.


Andon says, "Don't you even think about taking my favorite toy you silly red-haired girl!" Hehe...they are so cute!


As for "Baby" I'm happy to say she survived her swim...although its taking some time for her to dry.....just incase you were wondering. :-)

Welcome to the world Kristen!

I'm hoping this blog post isn't premature. My bestest Georgia friend is having her baby right now and she should be here any minute if she isn't here already. So this one's for you Miss Kristen!

And for those of you who don't know about "Baby," she's Katie's beloved Cabbage Patch newborn doll. Well, she actually has two babies....the second one Grandma Mary Beth got her when I was a bad mommy and forgot the original "Baby" in TX. She accepted the new baby with open arms as well and now we go to bed with two babies...but I digress. These things are disgustingly dirty...I swear they would stick to the wall if I threw them. Therefore, it was time to test whether "Baby" would survive a bath...we only tried one, just in case the unspeakable happened and the outcome was not good. I know you will be on the edge of your seats so I will post results tomorrow....hehe

Random Sunday

Katie got to hang out with her Daddy today while Mommy went and saw the movie "Premonition." Not the best movie but definitely kept my attention....sucky ending though, but I won't ruin it for everyone. It was definitely nice to get out and Daddy survived....WOOT!

It was a gorgeous day outside so Katie and I enjoyed it in the backyard....and Katie had a good time rollin' with the homies.


Those of you with kids don't even pretend your living room never looks like this..hehe


Yeah...when your eye is open like that you can't see to take the picture, but I looked like a goober squinting. It's harder than you think!

Introducing....

...named in honor of her mom's favorite band....it's the COUNTING TOES! With Pooh bear rocking the jingle bells, Bunny the Funny Rabbit jammin on the xylophone ladybug thing, Elmo on the rattle, Fancy Baby Doll on the tamberine, and last but not least Miss Katie on the drums. I love this munchkin...could she be any cuter?

Invaded by the blechs.....

Katie and I have come down with the blechs. Can't tell if its a cold or allergies...I'm assuming cold since we are both experiencing the fun of stuffy noses and sore throats. Is it possible to overdose on Halls Fruit Breezers? Mmmmmmm.....


In case you aren't up on toddler literature, "Dog" is the #1 bedtime, daytime, all the time reading choice of 5 out of 6 toddlers. That 6th one must have been of picking his nose because everyone knows it's the best. :-D Katie is in love with the book and demands me to read it at least 5,594,430 times a day.


And just so you know.....

Yes, those dogs are pooping and peeing. Haha....gotta love this book.

Waiting for carpet to dry....

Big day today! I steam cleaned the carpets, which means we hung out in Mommy and Daddy's room and watched cartoons while they dried. I absolutely love the light in our room...so I caught a few of my baby's blues....





...and some tootsies too.
