Fall Leaves?

In TX we don't really get to enjoy the changing colors of the seasons. No beautiful reds, and oranges and yellows. All we get is brown. Our little sycamore in the backyard is down to its last few leaves so before the yard people came and mowed them all away we raked them up and played in what we could. It was quite pathetic actually!

The Simple LIfe

We had a gloomy day the other day and the kids were climbing the walls. Ryan started pushing around a diaper box and then of course Katie wanted to push it around and fighting ensued. So...I brought out two larger boxes and viola...an hour of fun!





And when the boxes got old, a pile of blankets and pillows gave us another hour...

What a gorgeous day to head to the pumpkin patch! I was so excited to dress everybody up "fall-ish." And then realized we looked a little too color coordinated :P Oh well...we got some nice pictures :)

A "Zoo-per" day and other random pictures

In this past week we went from HOT HOT HOT temps where 10 minutes outside leaves us dripping with sweat to beautiful 70's and sunshine.

Out in the heat...so miserable and sweaty but the kids don't mind! Ryan LOVES it outside. We can't even open the door to let the dog out or else he'll throw a fit to go outside...


He's a monkey for sure, always climbing on something. This time the slide...success!

Ryan is into everything...if he's not supposed to do something, you can be sure he's going to do it. Here he pulled the tricycle off of the patio...and said "uh oh!"


Finally beautiful weather...what better place to spend it than at the zoo wtih friends!

Little man finally able to walk after being in the stroller all day. Proved challenging with the 4 year olds running 3 miles ahead, the 2 year old wandering about in all directions and the 1 year old 2 miles behind! :P


Riding the train in Hermann Park (and a camera change with a wider angle and video). So fun!


Sorry no sound (long story), actually be greatful that you don't have to listen to my annoying voice! :P

More Oreo Fun

Our time with Oreo has come to an end and Katie is very sad. But before he left he went golfing with Katie and Daddy...


And also went to Katie's ballet class. He even got to watch her in the room!
