I was asked to help come up with an idea for my daughter's school's silent auction. We were thinking something other than the usual thumbprints on a flower pot type creation. I'm super pleased with our result! It will be a 10x26 gallery wrap canvas.

Thanksgiving Feast

Yesterday Katie had her Thanksgiving Feast at school where they put on a darling little skit for us. This is the ending...pop a few advil first. Trust me!

Early Birthday Celebration and An Elf named Bert

Katie celebrated her birthday at school this week since we'll be gone the actually week of her birthday...


She enjoyed the attention...and the purple crown...


And the purple cupcake :D


At home we started the tradition of Elf on the Shelf. It's been fun seeing where he'll pop up each morning!



I asked Katie what we should name our Elf friend, she didn't know so I suggested Ernie the Elf. She said no....she liked Bert instead. :P

Halloween Hullabaloo

It's a been a busy few days around here, hence the lack of blogging! With sessions piling up in the proofing queue, my parents visiting and Halloween festivities, it's been hard to deal with my own photos!

Katie's class had their Halloween party and parade and they were super cute!

Next up was Trick or Treat at Panther Creek which is where all the businesses in the shopping center give out candy. So many people!!!




Halloween day we made Mummy Dogs and carved our pumpkins! Katie still wouldn't touch the insides!









On to trick-or-treating! We had our pals over for dinner first and then the kiddos went crazy! They had so much fun running from house to house! It was a challenge to keep track of everyone as everyone's kiddos were running at different speeds!

The Simple LIfe

We had a gloomy day the other day and the kids were climbing the walls. Ryan started pushing around a diaper box and then of course Katie wanted to push it around and fighting ensued. So...I brought out two larger boxes and viola...an hour of fun!





And when the boxes got old, a pile of blankets and pillows gave us another hour...
