We interrupt the boring Europe pictures to bring you...

mass quantities of cuteness! It is impossible to play in the backyard without getting soaked. It's a rule or something.

And a pretty from the Crape Myrtle...

Yodel-Aye-Eee-Ooo!

I absolutely LOVED Swizterland. It was breathtaking and the towns were lovely. Yes, we purchased a REAL wooden Cuckoo clock and enough Swiss Army Knives to...well...arm the Swiss Army. :)

First off was the town of Lugano for lunch.

We stopped at a rest stop on a mountain pass in the Alps and I got some purty shots.

Then it was on to Lucern. A great town with a good mix of modern and historic. I was partial to the historic part...it was beautiful.

The moment I decided the Swiss were alright. :)

You can add yodeling to Keith's many talents...I'm so proud.

Moving North!

Here's the next installation of Keith and Shannon Invade Europe. I'm having a tough time figuring out what my pictures are...oops! Anyway, I'll track down that info and update my post tomorrow. I'm to lazy at the moment. :)

Florence, Italy
Known for it's gold and leather goods and boy were they beautiful. Momma might have got a few pretties from the jewelry store. :D Hey...Keith got some belts! Hehe!

Venice, Italy
Venice is known obviously for it's charming waterways but also for it's fantastic glass products. Oh and Elton John owns a small house here too.

Pictures as Promised!

Considering I took over 800 pictures don't be to surprised that you'll get some in small doses! Haha! So, first off....

Rome
The history of this city is mind boggling. It's older than you can fathom and the fact that these buildings still stand today is incredible. The Italians are CRAZY drivers, but passionate and friendly. We just didn't understand why they made their showers so tiny! Hehe!

The Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, St. Peter's Square, and The Sistine Chapel

FYI...these Sistine Chapel pics aren't the best because no photography was allowed...bad Shannon. :)

The Colluseum, The Forum, The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon and a random statue I liked :)

Trevi Fountain - The legend is throw one coin you will return to Rome, 2 coins you will marry soon, 3 coins will lead to divorce. Notice my Keith's picture? He threw 3 friggin' coins! TURD!
