Introducing "Ladybug Girl!"

Today Katie's school had their storybook character parade. Many people try to tie in their halloween costumes...I mean there is a book for everything! I decided to make it separate because I LOVE children's literature and we have so many wonderful books. So Katie and I scoured her shelf to figure out what character she would like to be. We found "Lady Bug Girl" and both thought it was PERFECT!

She makes a pretty darn cute Lady Bug girl!

The parade and some pics in her classroom :)

Oh my goodness I cracked up when I saw her teacher! The kids love the book "Scaredy Squirrel" so that's what she was! Hilarious!!

Lovin' Life

Katie's school had their Fall Festival last night. She literally lost her mind seeing all the fun games, prizes, friends and everything else all in one place. She would have stayed all night!

Another Saturday means another Soccer game these days. Each game Katie is getting more aggressive. The large picture below shows what a super proud girl who scored 2 goals look like!!!

Literally 45 minutes after those soccer pictures were taken, Soccer girl turned into party girl to celebrate Jackson's 6th bday!! So fun!

Hand Me Down Pirate

My mom's group fall festival was Monday so Ryan got to test drive his pirate costume! Well, not technically his...it's from Katie's dress up box, purchased a couple years ago on an after halloween discount. He thought he was cool stuff. Only those well versed in "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" will appreciate this. He was walking around the whole time saying "ahhh coconuts!" lol!

Crazy for Rain!

It's been a long dry summer around here, and the sight of rain may make you splash around in your skivvies ;)

Sweet Sibs :)

Gig Em!

Today is Generation TX week at Katie's school. Today was wear your favorite college shirt day. Since nobody knows who the Sacramento State Hornets are, we went with Keith's college which is a little better known round these parts ;)

Tomorrow look out for her decked out in her Woodlands High School shirt!

A Beautiful Day at the Zoo!

Can I get an AMEN for the beautiful weather the past two days here in Houston??? You can't help but be happy when you can spend 3 hours outside and not sweat to death. We had such a great time at the zoo with Keith's family!

After the zoo we went to lunch and Julie and Daniel had a special question to ask Katie and Ryan...

CAN'T WAIT! I'm a little worried about Ryan...do they make child zanex? lol! He may want nothing to do with cooperating. Oh well...he'll be so cute anyway :D
