Back to it
We are slowly getting back into our routine of preschool, playdates and life at home. We had one last Christmas celebration with our TX fam on Saturday. It was great to see everyone and I totally hate Aunt Julie because she's in Disneyworld as we speak! :P Here are some snaps from the evening...excuse the wonky color...
I wish I would have taken more but I was busy making dinner and such...my trusty assistant Katie was put on the job with her new camera...I think she has some talent!!!
We got together with our bestest buds Andon and Jackson too.

Now for some randomness...
Did you know beads + string = an HOUR of independent playtime? Anyone that knows Katie, knows that she doesn't play well on her own much.
Ryan got his first ear infection...boo. But look at him sitting in the stroller like a big boy!

I need a vacation! :P
This may be a surprise to Keith and the grandparents whom I'll beg to watch my children, but we are SOOOO going on a vacation next Fall. :P This summer is our 5th anniversary and after Ryan turns 1 I'll be done breastfeeding (YIPPEE!). I'm looking for ideas! We've been on a cruise (not a huge fan) and we went to Europe 2 years ago. I'm looking for something a)relaxing b)not a TON of travel time or stress to plan c) something RELAXING! :) I'm thinking maybe Mexico or somewhere in the Caribbean. Also something reasonably priced would be preferred. If anyone has specific resorts or locations they love please share!
Ok...off to dream about my vacation as Ryan is screaming and Katie just dumped all the beads she was stringing all over the floor...
PS: The old blog may be moving soon and will most likely become private. I see no need to really keep it public as it is for friends and family anyway. I'll do my best to get everyone added that would like to be added.

He was in such a good mood for about 10 minutes in his exersaucer. I can't believe how big he's getting! I finally captured some good smiles, which I can't seem to do with my camera. :)

Have a SUPERFINE 2009!
Tonight we celebrated New Years with the East Coasters so Katie and Ryan could participate. Of course Katie decided she didn't need a nap so I let her watch a movie instead...hmmmm...
The evening started off with a yummy dinner of Enchilada Casserole and Tamales...mmmmmm.
Katie with the 2009 sign we decorated together...look how well she stayed in the lines (she did the 20 and I did the 09)!
Then we decorated party hats with Grandma...so much fun!
For dessert we made root beer floats and headed downstairs to watch the ball drop. We also had fun with Silly String and Party Poppers!
Who let mama have the Silly String? Oops! :P
